When we started designing log saunas, we aimed to achieve the authentic atmosphere of a Finnish sauna and the ease of sauna bathing. We want to offer saunas for different purposes, and the traditional log sauna with a changing room is especially intended for those who want to enjoy gentle garden-sauna steam in a traditional style and with ease. This log sauna does not rely on unnecessary gimmicks – it has good basic benches, a handy changing room and an excellent Harvia stove with a glass door. From the log sauna, you can quickly step out onto the small terrace to cool off, and when your toes start to tingle from the chill, you can continue cooling down in the warmer changing room or hop back onto the benches waiting hot. Just add more wood to the firebox, listen to the hypnotic hum of the wood-burning stove and, to top it off, enjoy superb steam. There is always something magical about sauna bathing in the yard. Leave your clothes or sauna robes in the changing room

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's high-quality saunas are built spaciously, with compact use of space. The traditional log sauna with a changing room and front terrace is just the right size for 4-6 people. From inside, you can head to the sauna wearing sauna robes or leave your clothes in the handy changing room. Of course, you can also dash across the yard to the sauna in the nude, but in that case you need to be careful that the neighbour's grandma doesn't choke on her coffee.

The heart of this log sauna is the Harvia M3 stove with a glass door. The stove's glass door creates a cosy glow of firelight in the sauna, especially in autumn and winter. Add the integrated water tank to your order and you will get warm washing water for sauna-goers, so you do not need a shower for basic washing. The sauna's highest point is nearly two and a half metres and the whole impressive length is just under five metres. A sturdy and safe chimney package is naturally included in the delivery. Remember to always use fire carefully and responsibly.

The Sauna-Seppo wash-water filter available as an extra removes concerns about dirty water, as the wash water passed through the filter can be returned to nature and building control will not start issuing environmental fines.

Honestly built from logs

We manufacture the traditional log sauna with a changing room and front terrace from beautiful Finnish spruce logs measuring 45 x 145 mm. Wood is always a warm and ecological choice. The sauna has two tiers of spruce benches and a window lets light into the sauna. The changing room has two windows, one of which is in the door. The windows are top-quality aluminium-framed thermal glass windows that keep the heat inside.

We are happy to deliver the whole package right to your backyard, and you do not need lifting equipment if you choose hiab truck delivery. The package includes eaves boards, a complete black felt shingle set, felt roofing nails, a lockable exterior door with fittings, and also terrace floor boards. At the moment, building the sauna still requires a building permit, but we provide architectural drawings for the permit. The foundations are the customer’s responsibility. You can get the instructions and permit drawings with the sauna in advance on request, so when delivery arrives you can simply get started bringing your new handsome garden sauna into bathing condition. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and calm enthusiasm for the assembly work. Always read the instructions carefully before carrying out each step.

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, someone is always on duty. We offer customer support 24 hours a day, every day of the week, or as is now said, 24/7. Few people build their home at night, but we will answer then too if something about assembling the product is puzzling. The instructions included with the building packages help with assembly, and you can also find assembly videos on YouTube that make it easier to understand the construction work. You are not left alone with your outbuilding, because we are here to support you!
