For the next eager BMW fan, this one has just the right amount of power for Finnish roads!


Over the past 2 years, quite a lot of money has been spent on the car, including new front shock absorbers, tie rod ends, several different control arms (I don’t even remember everything), anti-roll bar links, brake discs and pads, hoses for the cooling system, expansion tank, and oil leaks have been repaired. The headlights have just been polished and restored with resin.


The interior is almost in immaculate condition. The seats are not torn, and the interior overall has been very well cared for.


The equipment level is modest for my taste, but it has everything needed. Most importantly, it has cup holders, and they work!


The gearbox shifts nicely and the car accelerates as it should. Of course, some power has been lost in a car of this age, but it will not be left behind!


Defects:

  • Oil seeps from the valve cover gasket (a new gasket is available for this)

  • The transmission sometimes goes into limp mode very rarely, which clears after restarting and does not return

  • There is still a very small coolant leak from somewhere

  • There are marks on the side, but these can also be dealt with by an expert polisher

  • The battery has just failed. The car can be charged, but it no longer has enough condition to start.
