• Two sets of tyres on Volvo alloy wheels. Summer tyres 225/50R17 with 3 mm tread, winter tyres 205/16R16 with 5 mm tread. Studs still there but worn. Summer tyres worn on the edges.

Defects found in the car

• The body would need a little tidying up. Rear corners of the front wings and the tailgate corners. A few paint blemishes.

• Driver's seat worn on the edge.

• The central locking on the left rear door does not work; it must be locked manually if unlocked

• A couple of plastic covers are loose, shown in the pictures. The covers are included and should be painted to match the body colour

• One glow plug is out

• The transmission intermittently gives fault code P074100 / requires transmission service. The code appears under heavy load (full load or with a trailer) uphill in 6th gear when pulling, with the torque converter not locked. If those situations are driven in manual 5th gear, there are no issues. This has been present in the car for 4 years and has not otherwise been a problem. If it triggers the warning light, it clears itself after 1-2 'normal' days.

• Coolant needs topping up from time to time. This started in winter and was related to using the Webasto; now it needs topping up in summer too. It does not leak underneath, topping-up is occasional and the coolant colour in the expansion tank is normal

With a little fixing, still a good car for several more years.
