Now available: a sensible and spacious Nissan Qashqai with a 1.6-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. This example has a great history: it is a Finnish car that has been with its most recent owner for as long as 10 years (only 3 owners in total). The engine is known for being technically simple and durable.

For its age the car has been preserved unusually well; the body is rust-free – there is only a small scratch above the right rear wheel arch. The interior is completely odour-free and tidy, apart from some normal fabric wear (the driver’s seat has a neat patch repair, and the boot has a plywood parcel shelf). Servicing has been done as needed: the most recent service was at 295,000 km (June 2023), when the rear wheel bearings and windscreen were also replaced. Additionally, brake discs and pads were renewed in September 2023.

On the test drive the car felt normal: it drives straight and smoothly, power is present, the gearbox feels good and the clutch engages normally. The car is sold with two sets of tyres: summer tyres on Nissan original alloy wheels (tyres need replacing) and studded winter tyres that still have good tread, although some studs have come loose. The windscreen is intact, air conditioning works and there are no warning lights on the dash.
