Has been with the previous owner for about 8 years, who fitted many new parts. New forks, fork seals, oils, steering bearing. Brake callipers serviced. New brake master cylinders, new pads. Engine stripped and overhauled; new oil seals, gaskets and rubber gaiters. A new tensioner and slider fitted to the timing head. Clutch renewed. Engine vibration dampers new; front and rear wheel bearings replaced. Some electrics renewed. A battery maintainer socket fitted under the seat. Carburettors stripped and fitted with new diaphragms, gaskets and jets. Carburettors synchronised. New battery fitted last autumn. Does not use oil, etc. A striking and tidy bike in every respect, and comfortable to ride.


Not to overpraise it: the mixture could be turned slightly richer and the gearing is a bit short for long-distance use. The rear tyre will almost certainly need replacing this summer. Exact kilometres are unknown, as the instrument cluster was replaced at some point. This is not new but a 45‑year‑old bike — nevertheless everything works. Its value is unlikely to fall. Included are a second rear wheel with a good tyre and a 4–1 exhaust.
