A well-preserved runner for its age. Tyres in good condition. There is no odometer reading, but it is known that the total is well under 80,000 km.

Plenty of sound and a lot of torque — so ready for hard riding. Very stable even at high speeds, wide handlebar. Leather saddlebags and original parts included free of charge. Dynojet jet kit and straight pipes!


The typical Intruder issue has been fixed: timing chains and tensioners renewed, so the engine runs very cleanly without side noises.

Defects and other observations

Some minor fixes needed, listed below.

  • Kill switch disabled — engine is turned off with the key. Rear brake adjusted so it does not need to be used.

  • Instrument cluster does not work properly (dark when ignition is on). In one ignition‑lock position the dash comes on, but the bike then stalls.

  • High beam does not work.

  • Indicator fuse is a 15A fuse, although the fuse holder specifies 10A (This should be corrected before longer rides).

  • Custom electrical connections have been made.

  • Minor signs of melting in the fuse box.

  • Paint has come off.
