Laxen was carved in the winter of 1971–72 at Emäsalo. The boat was built by Nils Uddström, who used it until 1995. After that it served in the Turku archipelago as a connection boat for a camp centre. It was then sold into private use as a cottage boat. From Turku it was sold to Helsinki, where it was used for charter. In winter 2023 the boat came to the current owner and has been refurbished.
