During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • - Vibrates at 40–60 km/h; engaging four-wheel drive helps slightly.

    ->Front drive axles need replacement. Prop shaft universal joints are rusty.

  • - Steering somewhat stiff.

    ->Steering rack stuck.

  • - Clutch overhaul required.

    ->Clutch worn out.

  • - Driver's door will not open with the remote.

    ->Door lock faulty.

  • - Engine warning light — according to the previous owner it is related to the catalytic converter even though it is reported as OK, and the codes clear after a longer reset.

    ->Fault memory contains a code for reduced catalytic converter efficiency. Not active. Using higher-octane fuel may help.

    Possible later replacement of the catalytic converter.
