I bought this car at auction as an emergency vehicle because all my family’s cars were in for repair at the time of purchase. Now I need parking space, so I am selling it.

I am satisfied with the car’s condition. It has just had a routine service: filters and oils have been changed.


I have repaired all faults found in the most recent inspection; only the axle joints remain to be fixed. The service book shows the timing belt was changed about 40,000 km ago. About a month ago the body underside was sandblasted at an anti-corrosion workshop, and afterwards all body parts underneath were treated with corrosion protection products.


The body condition is surprisingly good for its age: sandblasting revealed only surface rust, and one previous owner has fitted both new side rocker panels.


One previous owner has also invested heavily in the engine: many new parts have been fitted. If you buy based on the odometer reading rather than the car’s condition — this car is not for you!


There are of course minor repairs, but I believe the new owner will have time to do them before the next inspection. Some parts of the axle hinges need checking/replacement: a small knock can be heard when driving over potholes.


The car drives straight, the tyres are good and the brakes work well.


The engine runs perfectly, with no smoke even under hard acceleration.


The engine and gearbox are dry, i.e. there are no oil leaks. The gearbox oil should definitely be changed.
