Industrial hall "Tabasco" in Meinala, Kalajoki

For sale:

The City of Kalajoki is selling an industrial hall built in the 1960s in the Meinala district. The property address is Meinalantie 27, 85100 Kalajoki. The parcel on which the area for sale is located is zoned for industrial and storage buildings.

The building is intended for industrial use and has housed a variety of activities over the years. The premises are heated by ground-source heat.

Any seller-owned movable items on the premises are included in the sale (excluding tenants’ own movable items, which tenants store in their leased areas).

In addition to the costs of partitioning and title registration, the buyer is responsible for any permit processes and costs arising from a change of use and/or zoning.

The property is sold partly occupied. The notice period for termination by either landlord or tenant is one (1) month. At the time of this notice there are two tenants on open-ended contracts. A change of owner does not affect the tenant’s position or the terms agreed in the lease. The seller will inform tenants of the change of ownership. The new owner (buyer) must inform tenants of their contact details and any changes to account numbers immediately after completion.

Inspection and viewing:

The bidder has an obligation, before submitting an offer, to inspect the property, documents and records.

The buyer may not later rely on a matter that could have been observed during a preliminary inspection.

Offers made in the auction are binding. If an offer is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to liability for damages. If the highest binding bidder has made an unfounded bid, they must pay a penalty to the seller within 3 days equal to 20% of the auction price or at least EUR 5,000.

The final sale decision will be made by the City Council of Kalajoki.
