Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • The car feels good to drive; no issues were noted during driving other than the squeaking at the rear axle.

  • The car is tidy both externally and inside.

  • The car was traded in directly from regular use.


Fault diagnosis:

- Valve cover gasket leaking

- Rear axle squeak joints noisy; replace left and right

- Front (reaction) control arm bushings broken left + right; both control arms must be replaced

- Driver's exterior handle cable is broken, inspected. Replace.

- Radiator end‑tank leaking; replace radiator and coolant.

- Knocking from the left side; possibly the steering rack or a CV joint
