BMW for repair. I have spent €3,867.84 on engine parts, cylinder head machining and a pressure test.

Besides the head, the timing front was replaced; all new. Every single gasket and seal.

Accessory/drive belt with rollers. Also the crankshaft pulley.

The turbo is brand new. New injectors from the boss — they have been calibrated. Pressures are OK and each injector worked in tests when the car was used.

The car starts but does not respond well to the throttle. It chokes after a short time and smokes before cutting out.

The code reader flagged the mass air flow sensor, and the engine shows -28°C ambient while it is +15°C outside.

The car was inspected earlier in the year. There were no defects/remarks.

I started repairing it because pressure was building up in the expansion tank.

I have now lost the motivation to continue this project.
