An E39 that has seen a lot of life but is surprisingly in good, sharp condition for the next owner! (normal signs of use)

Recently MOT-tested! CarVertical report is clean and can be found in the last photo.

I don't want to part with the car but I have to now.

Parts changed for the inspection:

The biggest “type fault” was the ABS module — repaired with a used unit at a garage; receipt available.

Thermostat replaced

Rear ABS sensors

Turbo replaced (new unit from Turbotukku)

Fuel lines and primary fuel filter

Front wheel bearing (right)

Front brake discs and pads

Rear handbrake components

Rear subframe bushings

Rear sill welded

All bulbs front and rear; includes LED “angel eyes”

Rear air bags fitted by the previous owner and compressor

Level adjustment sensors

Rear lower control arms, both sides

Front dogbone links, both sides

Engine oil, oil filter and air filter changed about 6,000 km ago

Tie-rod ends replaced (used). Four-wheel alignment done; toe adjusted front and rear. Glovebox contains H&R spring paperwork and the springs are approved in the modification inspection.

Known faults:

- The boot glass does not open or close itself; it is currently closed and I have not tried to open it.

- The serpentine belt tensioner makes a bit of noise — it could be replaced.

- Pixels on the instrument display are failing; a working cluster is included and a couple of boxes of various spare parts are included.

- Front is lowered; rear lowered by pressure. Comes with intact standard front springs.

The car also includes 20 mm spacers that allow standard 5x120 72.6 mm centre‑bore wheels to fit. Comes with summer tyres and winter tyres on E39-specific centres — so spacers should not cause issues at MOT.

I am not selling a new car — there will certainly be things to note! I have used it as my everyday car like this.
