Practical, versatile Step-In step

You might not expect one plastic step to be so useful, but it is. We designed a Step-In step to make entering the tub easier. The step naturally helps with getting into and out of the hot tub, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child if their head would otherwise go under water. Parents can relax better knowing the child has a suitably sized bathing step. In use we have also found the step to work well as a handhold — the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a handy lounging tub. The Step-In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for all ages and helps people with reduced mobility bathe more easily.

Premium class brings extra space to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture quality hot tubs, but the Premium series has been taken a step further by its large size. With the Premium series you get a bigger tub, which means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller hot tubs your legs can get cramped in the middle, but an extra 30–40 centimetres in diameter makes a big difference! The water volume of the barrel does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is ready for use in almost the same time as smaller tubs. A cornucopia of choices

We apologise in advance for making buying a tub a little complicated — but this is a good problem. You get to make choices so your Premium Step In Hot Tub is tailored to your taste. You can choose the colour of the plastic basin from five options. And it doesn't stop there. You can choose the external cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour between black or grey. The basin colour palette is inspired by nature, including sea-blue and lichen-grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulated for northern conditions

To achieve top-class insulation we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic basin there is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost at bay and bath water hot even in colder winter weather. We added plenty of thermal plastic to the sides so the edges are insulated too. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub stays warm even the next day. For winter bathing we recommend adding one load of wood before the next day's bath. Oxygen tablets added after the previous evening's bathing will also freshen the water for the next use. Then just enjoy again — or, if children are involved, splash about.

Blazing efficient heating

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a few hours. The 35-kilowatt stove is durable marine aluminium and conducts heat well. The stove has an attractive glass hatch so the wood-fired tub gives off a pleasing glow without needing to open the hatch to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's marine-aluminium stoves are made in Finland and are included in the hot tub package. A large-capacity stove copes even with brackish water — it works with both fresh and sea water. Carefully considered material details make the stove a top-quality, high-temperature product. Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium as chlorine oxidises marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active-oxygen tablets (see accessory list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be used for watering plants because it contains no additional chemicals and is also safer for children. Untreated water can easily form a slimy film on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Worry-free plastic basin

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed basin of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene (Jaxal). This plastic has memory — it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care, low-maintenance plastic basin stands the test of time well, which is why we confidently offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the plastic basin has no moulded seams, dirt cannot collect in hidden places. Remember to keep the basin surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with ordinary cleaning agents. The most conscientious users may occasionally disinfect their basin, but please ensure correct handling of wastewater.
