Those were the words on our flipchart when we started designing a higher-quality and roomier hot tub. We took the idea from brainstorming to product and created the Premium Hot Tub range, offering space to lounge thanks to a two-metre diameter! The luxurious roominess can be enjoyed alone, but the Premium Hot Tub also fits your whole group of friends. Children have plenty of room for livelier water games in this quality giant. We improved the Premium Hot Tub further by adding an easy-to-use step, creating the Premium Step In Hot Tub, which makes it easier for children and the elderly to step in and get out for a cool-down. Practical, versatile Step In step

You may not expect a single plastic step to be so useful, but it is. We designed the Step In step to make entering the tub easier. The step naturally helps getting in and out of the tub, but it also functions as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise sink below the water. Parents can relax more when the child has a suitably sized bathing step. In use we have also found the step to work as a handy handrail – the step makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub a practical water-lounger. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for bathers of all ages and helps people with reduced mobility enjoy bathing.

Premium class adds extra size to your tub

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture quality hot tubs, but the Premium series has been taken a step further thanks to its larger size. The Premium range gives you a bigger tub and that means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller hot tubs legs can easily be cramped in the middle, but an extra 30–40 centimetres of diameter makes a big difference! The water volume doesn’t increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub reaches bathing temperature in almost the same time as smaller tubs. A bounty of choices

We apologise in advance for making one part of buying the tub delightfully difficult. The positive problem is that you get to make choices so the Premium Step In Hot Tub fits your taste. You can choose the colour of the plastic basin from five options. That’s not all: you can also choose the outer cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour in black or grey. The basin colour palette is inspired by nature and includes, for example, sea-blue or lichen grey. All tones are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve first-class insulation we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic basin there is 44 cm of EPS insulation, which keeps frost at bay and the bath water hot even in colder winter weather. We also added plenty of thermal plastic to the sides so the rim is insulated too. This highly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub remains warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend one load of wood be burned before the next day’s bath. Active oxygen tablets added after an evening bath will also refresh the water for the next session. Then just enjoy again—or, in the case of children, splash about.

Hot, efficient heating

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature within a few hours. The 35 kW marine-grade aluminium stove is durable and conducts heat well. The stove is fitted with a handsome glass hatch so you can enjoy the glow of the fire without opening the hatch to check the burn.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine-aluminium stoves for hot tubs are made in Finland. The high-power stove is not intimidated by seawater and works with fresh or brackish water. Carefully considered material details make the stove a top-quality heat source. Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium as it will start to oxidise the metal. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active-oxygen tablets (see accessory list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be used for watering plants because it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water easily forms a slimy film on the tub rim, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic basin

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed basin of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is blow-moulded from Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has memory—it keeps the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care, durable plastic basin stands the test of time, which is why we dare to offer a ten-year warranty.

Since the plastic basin has no moulded seams, dirt cannot accumulate in hidden places. Remember to keep the basin surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with ordinary cleaning agents. Meticulous users can disinfect the basin occasionally, but please ensure wastewater is disposed of correctly.
