Farmland for rent in Nurmo, Seinäjoki

The City of Seinäjoki offers its arable land for rent in Nurmo.

The lease is valid from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2030.

The field parcels have been divided into separate areas. The bidder commits to renting all field parcels belonging to an area. Area 2 consists of 3 plots.

NOTE! Bids are submitted in the format € / ha / year (euros per hectare per year), so the final contract price will depend on the area size.

Lease agreements will be signed as soon as possible after the auction ends, and the contract will include, among others, the following terms:

1. All leased areas must be cultivated in accordance with good farming practice, and the tenant is responsible for clearing and maintaining the field margins on the leased area.

2. The city reserves the right to take the area into use before the lease expires. The city must give 14 days' notice to the area's farmer of any takeover or measures.

3. The city is obliged to compensate for cultivation measures and/or damage to the crop if they result from actions taken by the city.

4. If the area contains wild oats, the tenant is responsible for controlling them using the measures required by legislation on wild oats.
