A sauna trip is a small adventure in your own garden: a traditional log sauna with changing room and front terrace, now NO PLANNING PERMISSION REQUIRED!!!

When we began designing log saunas, we aimed to achieve the genuine atmosphere of a Finnish sauna and make sauna bathing easy. We want to offer saunas for a variety of purposes, and the Traditional Log Sauna with Changing Room is especially intended for those who want to enjoy the gentle heat of a traditional garden sauna with ease. This log sauna does not rely on unnecessary gimmicks – it has good basic benches, a handy changing room and an excellent Harvia stove with a glass door. From the log sauna, you can quickly step onto the small terrace to cool down, and when your toes start to curl from the cold, you can continue cooling off in the slightly warmer changing room or jump back onto the hot benches waiting for you. All you need to do is add more wood to the firebox, listen to the hypnotic hum of the wood-burning stove and enjoy the wonderful steam. There is always something magical about sauna bathing in the garden. Every sauna trip is its own little adventure in your garden or holiday cottage. Start your own garden sauna story by ordering the Traditional Log Sauna with Changing Room and Front Terrace!

Leave your clothes or sauna robes in the changing room

High-quality saunas from Hyvän Kaupan Paikka are built to be spacious while using space compactly. The Traditional Log Sauna with Changing Room and Front Terrace is just the right size for 4–6 people. You can move inside to bathe wearing sauna robes or take your clothes off in the convenient changing room. Of course, you can also dash across the garden to the sauna in the attire of Adam or Eve, but in that case be careful not to make the neighbour’s granny choke on her coffee.

The heart of this log sauna is the Harvia M3 stove with glass door. The glass door creates an atmospheric glow from the flames, especially in autumn and winter. Add an integrated water tank to the stove when ordering and you will have warm washing water for bathers, so you do not need a shower for basic washing. The sauna’s highest point is almost 2.5 metres, and the entire structure is just under 5 metres long. A sturdy and safe chimney package is naturally included in the delivery. Always use fire carefully and responsibly.

The optionally available Sauna-Seppo wash-water filter removes concerns about wastewater, as wash water passed through the filter can be released back into nature without the building control authorities issuing environmental fines.

Honestly built from logs

We manufacture the Traditional Log Sauna with Changing Room and Front Terrace from handsome Finnish spruce logs measuring 45 x 145 mm. Wood is always a warm and ecological option. The sauna has two levels of spruce benches, and a window provides light. The changing room has two windows, one of which is in the door. The windows are high-quality, aluminium-framed double-glazed windows that keep the heat inside.

Quality, experience and first-class design

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka has been making garden buildings for years. We have gained experience in continually developing our products and therefore always strive to do our best. We continue to develop our products based on experience and customer feedback. Consequently, the casting defects in the Traditional Log Sauna have already been corrected. Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s saunas are built under strict quality control, meaning the product does not suffer from common material variations and quality remains consistent. We always deliver customers a sauna matching the catalogue and display sauna, without reserving the right to make technical changes. Customers can therefore be sure that when ordering from Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, the product will be the same as the one in the image used to market it. That is why we dare to promise a satisfaction guarantee for our saunas!

Soon you will be assembling it!

The package includes eaves boards, a complete black bitumen shingle roofing set, roofing nails, a lockable external door with fittings and terrace floorboards. At present, construction of the sauna still requires planning permission, but we provide architectural drawings for the application. The customer is responsible for constructing the foundations. You can request the instructions and planning drawings in advance, so that when the delivery arrives you can start assembling your splendid garden sauna straight away. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and a patient enthusiasm for assembly. Always study the instructions carefully before carrying out each stage of the work.

Someone is always on call

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, someone is always on call. We offer customer support 24 hours a day, every day of the week – in other words, 24/7. Few people build their home at night, but we will answer questions then if something about assembling the product is unclear. The instructions supplied with the building packages help with assembly, and you can also find assembly videos on YouTube to make the construction work easier to understand. You will not be left alone with your garden building, as we are here to support you!
