Defects and other observations

Modifications have been detected in the engine programming or exhaust systems, which means the vehicle is not roadworthy. The buyer is responsible for repairing the vehicle to make it roadworthy at their own expense. Specification: Pakokaasun takaisinkierrätysventtiili (EGR-venttiili) puhdistettu ja tulpattu toimivana n. 200tkm mittarilukeman kohdalla, samassa yhteydessä puhdistettu myös imusarjaa / imukanavia karstasta. HUOM: EI OLE AIHEUTTANUT MITÄÄN VIKAVALOJA / RYÖMINTÄMOODIA EIKÄ VAIKUTTANUT KATSASTUKSEEN. Halutessa palauttaa EGR normaaliin toimintaansa, otetaan sen liitoksen välistä umpilaippa pois.

The vehicle was temporarily withdrawn from road use on 22 October 2026. When the engine is running, pressure builds in the coolant expansion tank and, at higher revs / under load, the increased pressure forces coolant out through the overflow hose next to the expansion-tank cap. However, the engine oil and coolant do not mix. I managed the issue during everyday driving with light use until autumn by routing the overflow hose into an extra collection bottle placed in the engine bay, monitoring the fluid levels and pouring any expelled coolant back into the radiator, but bought a petrol-powered car for the winter. The issue has not been diagnosed in detail, but it may indicate a leaking head gasket or similar. Otherwise, the engine and mechanical components work well.
