Beautiful Lexus RX up for auction to the highest bidder! The car has seen life, but with a little work it can still be a good vehicle!

Failed its MOT; valid for driving until 23 December 2026. Photo of the defect list in the advert. Rust in the front wheel arches, issues with the front brakes, and the driver's seat-belt retractor does not work.

Well equipped: memory seat (with electrically adjustable steering wheel), tow bar, engine heater and interior socket, etc.

The car feels technically sound. It came directly from a customer in part exchange while still being driven. The previous owner used it as their daily car for the last 6 years.

Service history: Lexus dealer service book up to 155,000 km! After that, a few stamps and receipts in the book, but most servicing was done by the owner. Apparently, the previous owner last changed the oil in spring. The car has one set of tyres (shown fitted in the pictures). Approx. 2 mm tread at the front and 7 mm at the rear.

Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we noted the following:

  • The car feels sound mechanically. It drives well for its age and tracks straight. The engine sounds good and seems to have all its power. The gearbox feels normal, changes smoothly and responds to the accelerator. It has just undergone its MOT, so no major work should be needed apart from the MOT observations.

  • Something knocks slightly at the front right, probably the top of the suspension strut or similar.

  • The electric mirror adjustment is slightly temperamental.

  • Something at the front, possibly an exhaust or engine heat shield, resonates. It does not come from inside the engine.

  • On the driver's door window control panel, only the driver's window works.

We have not carried out a technical condition inspection, nor tested the operation of all equipment. The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. However, we disclose all known details about every car. You are welcome to test-drive and inspect the car more closely on site.

The car has not undergone a special condition check by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It may have hidden faults that we did not find during the test drive. You are welcome to inspect the car in more detail before making a binding offer. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
