Update 23 October 2026: I refuelled the car; all other warning lights have gone out except the white battery symbol (the car is charging at 13.9–14.1 V).

The parking sensors worked normally on this drive. I read the fault memory again; the engine-related codes had cleared and have not returned, so they were certainly caused by the long period of standing.

A tidy GL considering its age and mileage.

It was serviced as required at our workshop and then passed its MOT.

After this, it was left standing and has now been unused for several months.

A new, larger 12V battery was fitted to make it roadworthy. The car started perfectly with the new battery.

We read the fault memory; there were a couple of engine-related fault codes and the glow plug warning light was on. We warmed the car up and, after the test drive, no warning lights were on, even after restarting the car.

A photo of the fault codes is included in the advert, although they may not currently be active.

Other points to note: The parking sensors beep but do not work; the white battery light is on in the instrument cluster (the small battery is probably dead), although the car is charging completely normally.

The MOT issued an advisory for an oil leak; nothing has been done about this.

It has not left any marks underneath while standing, nor after test drives when hot.

It may therefore be seeping somewhere; please take this into account before bidding.

The service book has been photographed, along with a large stack of receipts for work carried out.

The air suspension was refurbished some time ago; it works perfectly and did not sink even after standing for several months.

One set of good-condition Nokian studded winter tyres, fitted to the alloy wheels shown.

The auxiliary light works and is powerful.

The car HAS NOT been inspected or investigated any further by us. It was MOT-tested to establish that the basic items are in order.

The car has been conversion-tested and registered as a van, so the taxes are reasonable and there is a huge amount of space. The rear seats are not included.
