Mercedes-Benz E 220 d 4MATIC estate – four-wheel drive, diesel and plenty of practical motoring

VAT deductible!!!

Up for auction is an E-Class Mercedes for anyone looking for a spacious four-wheel-drive estate and not put off by the fact that a used car also shows signs of having been lived in.

This is an E 220 d 4MATIC automatic, which drives nicely. The gearbox changes normally and the drivetrain feels to be in order. The brakes do not judder, and no unusual rattles or knocks can be heard when turning the steering wheel to full lock. So, based on the test drive, the basics seem to be as they should.

The last service was carried out in August 2026, and the car has a digital service history, which can be found in the listing attachments.

Notable equipment:

• 4MATIC four-wheel drive

• 7-speed automatic gearbox

• Avantgarde trim

• ILS LED headlights

• Folding tow bar

• Parking sensors all round

• Navigation system

• Bluetooth

• Audio 20 system

• Heated front seats

• Automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors

• Electrically folding exterior mirrors

• Steering-wheel gearshift paddles

• Collision warning with active braking

• Black headlining

• Two sets of tyres with wheels

The summer tyres include two good tyres at the front and two weaker ones at the rear. The winter tyres are in OK condition.

And because it is nicer to know in advance what you are buying at an auction, here are the car’s shortcomings without sugar-coating:

• The daytime running light in the right front headlamp does not work

• The right rear light unit is slightly cracked

• Part of the chrome trim is missing from the same rear corner

• A small scuff on the front lip

• The front seats show signs of use, and the upholstery can no longer be described as flawless

• The plastic clip on the side of the seat has failed

• The parking sensors currently do not activate

• The windscreen is intact but has small stone chips

So, this is not a museum piece, nor is it being sold as one. In return, you get a spacious E-Class four-wheel-drive estate that drives nicely on the test drive, changes gear normally and was serviced quite recently.

If you are looking for a practical diesel Mercedes for winter, commuting or towing, place your bid.
