Faulty Merc!

Parked in August awaiting repairs. The front NOx sensor (original Continental) and boost pressure regulator have been replaced. The turbo still requires servicing.

The car was jerking while driving, and the diagnostic scan identified the boost pressure regulator as the cause and gave a fault code for the front NOx sensor.

In October, the car was started for moving purposes, but it would not start and all warning lights on the dashboard came on.

The cause of this latest fault has not been investigated.

Replaced:

NOx sensor

Boost pressure regulator

Boost pressure sensor

Serpentine belt pulleys

Air filter intake pipes

Rear air springs

Used by a family with children, so it needs fixing, but the interior and exterior are in reasonably good condition.

Stone chips on the windscreen.

Imported from Germany in 2018, after which servicing and other information was collected on paper.

Reasonably good winter tyres on separate rims included!

Periodic roadworthiness inspection not carried out/passed

Inspection period: 28/08/2025–31/08/2026
