Suzuki SJ410 convertible, you are unlikely to come across another one like it.

The mechanical components and bodywork have largely been gone through. It has been used for fun and as a project car for the last 4 years. It has high- and low-range four-wheel drive, as well as rear-wheel drive. Locking hubs on the front wheels.

Work carried out on the vehicle:

• Floor welded in 2023

• Brakes overhauled; all drum internals replaced in 2025

• Auxiliary battery and off-road lights added in 2025

• New, larger all-terrain tyres in 2024, recorded on the vehicle documentation

• Carburettor replaced in 2025

• Roof smoothed and painted in 2025

• Front wings smoothed, welded and painted in 2024

• Speedometer cable replaced in 2024

• Driver’s-side headlamp replaced in 2026 due to stone damage

• Fuel tank sender unit replaced in 2025

  
  

There are naturally a few things to note on a vehicle of this age, listed below:

• The silencer is nearing the end of its life; it is currently still sealed with a repair kit

• Timing belt age unknown; a new belt is included

• There is a short circuit somewhere in the original wiring around the driver’s-side headlamp. The lights work, but the wiring loom has had to be bypassed with an aftermarket auxiliary-light loom

• The windscreen washer occasionally sticks, usually due to debris in the nozzle

• The trailer socket’s operation is somewhat questionable. The rear-light wiring is also a slightly untidy modification, but it works.

• Leaf springs are the next project; they still work, but their age shows. Parts cost approximately €500

• The transfer case leaks a small amount of oil around the speedometer cable

• The fuel gauge is not entirely reliable; the fault is presumably in the wiring

This rarity is looking for a more suitable home. You are almost certainly not going to come across another one like it. One is known to have been converted to electric power, and according to the stories, only 6 were originally imported into the country.
