Reliable van to auction, straight from use!

Previously used as a construction van; I acquired it as transport for my hobbies.

It has worked throughout my ownership (1.5 years).

Basic oil service was carried out a year ago at 187,000 km, including replacement of all filters and both front shock absorber top mounts. Later, the rear brake pipes and a few other minor items were repaired for the inspection.

Winter tyres on alloy wheels; the front tyres are new and the rear ones are more worn. A decent set of studded tyres on steel wheels is also included.

It has a Webasto heater, and it works!


Drawbacks

  • There are scratches and dents.

  • Some initial rust, as shown in the pictures.

  • Crack in the windscreen.

  • The right-hand driveshaft CV boot should be replaced.

  • When started cold, it is occasionally sluggish for a short while, but runs normally when warm. I do not know whether this is a fault or a characteristic, as it has not caused problems and has not been investigated.


In summary, a slightly well-used van for someone. Despite the drawbacks, it has been very reliable throughout my ownership and has sometimes transported a long way to racetracks during the last two summers. Used almost daily.
