Defects and other observations

  • Crack in the windscreen

  • Engine leaks oil; the rocker cover gasket has been replaced, but it is uncertain whether this helped

  • Something knocks in the suspension over bumps, possibly an engine mount

  • When very hot (e.g. after a long motorway drive in summer), it will not start until it has cooled for 15 minutes; the fault may be software-related

  • The electric lock on the rear door behind the driver sometimes fails to unlock

  • There is a rust hole in the boot lid. The rust spot on the sill (shown in the photos) was professionally welded a year ago, and the underseal has come off. Some small rust spots and other cosmetic defects. The grille at the bottom of the front mask is missing.
