Toyota Avensis, 2008, Turku

Dear auction bidders! Here is a car that needs little introduction. When it comes to durability, reliability and peace of mind, the answer is usually Toyota Avensis. This is a spacious, safe estate car with a powerful 150 hp D-4D engine, designed to swallow the miles.

This example has travelled 390,000 km. For many brands that would mean retirement age, but for a well-maintained Toyota diesel it simply means the worst of the new-car stiffness has only just worn off!

Uses no fluids and does not pressurise!

The cylinder head was removed some time ago.

Excellent to drive: The car works brilliantly mechanically. It has plenty of power, the gears engage precisely and the suspension feels firm.

Comprehensive service history: This example has not been kept going by luck alone; it has been serviced regularly and properly.

Linea Sol Technical specification: Once a top-level equipment package, ensuring a comfortable cabin even on longer journeys.

Space: The Avensis estate boot has room for the family's hockey bags, building supplies and even a dog crate.

Cosmetic patina: 390,000 km and Finnish weather conditions have left a few natural signs of use on the car's exterior and interior (see photos).

These are merely cosmetic imperfections, part of the character of a used car of this age and price range.

The driver's window regulator needs attention: the glass slips off the regulator lift. This is an easy weekend project.
This has also been reflected in the car's starting price!

Are you looking for an affordable, spacious and reliable workhorse for construction work, hunting trips or as a second family car?

This Avensis is in excellent mechanical condition and is not intimidated by high mileage.

With a little work on the window, it will remain a faithful servant for a long time to come.

Study the photos, read the listing and place your winning bid. Here is a dependable car at a fair price – good luck in the auction!
