BMW 530, 2006, Nivala

Surplus BMW. Equipment includes, for example;

• Electrically adjustable and heated steering wheel

• Comfort leather seats, front seats with massage function

• Harman Kardon sound system

• Adaptive cruise control

• Etc.

The car has been in our family for 6 years. During this time, parts replaced include front springs, air mass meter, starter motor, injector wiring harness, water pump, thermostat, brake pipes from front to rear, an injector, etc. Recently replaced: air filter, cabin air filters, fuel filter, oil filter and oil, and intake manifold gaskets. Gearbox oil changed in 2022 at 411,000 km.

The car has now seen little use. It is not currently inspected. The previous inspection on 16 May 2025 passed without remarks.

Drawbacks and faults

The exterior has some imperfections. There is rust on the boot lid, the front passenger-side wing has been damaged, and there is lacquer damage on the rear side panel. There are certainly other marks here and there, but the overall appearance is quite acceptable.

There are a few electrical issues. The navigation sometimes does not work, and the cruise control occasionally stops working. This is probably a wiring fault or a control unit disrupting the bus. The central display flickers, and investigation has shown that it at least disrupts the bus. One electric window does not work. The electrically folding driver's door mirror sometimes folds in by itself.

In summer I washed the engine bay, after which the engine developed a slight running issue. However, I have not properly driven it since then.

There is certainly much more that has not been mentioned. Further information is of course available on request!
