From straight off the road to auction: a Finnish Opel Insignia with two owners!

The car has had only two owners, and a quick look through the service book shows that it has been well maintained over the years. Overall, the service history appeared quite satisfactory; see the gallery photos.

On a short test drive, the Insignia felt like a fully functional package in every respect. It was in such good condition that, judging by its handling, you would not have guessed the mileage if it were not clearly shown on the display. The engine started well and ran smoothly, power delivery was normal and no unusual noises were heard. The gearbox changed as it should, the suspension felt good and did not knock or rattle. The brakes engaged well and there was no vibration when braking. The steering wheel remained straight and the car did not pull in either direction. No significant issues with the mechanics emerged during the test drive.

The car failed its inspection due to the left rear transverse control arm. Otherwise, the inspection passed without major remarks. The inspection report is available in the gallery for closer review.

For its age, the car is in very tidy overall condition. There are a couple of signs of use on the body, but nothing major stood out. The main points to note are shown in the gallery.

It comes with two very good sets of tyres. The winter tyres have plenty of tread remaining and the studs are slightly worn down, but not significantly. The summer tyres are also in excellent condition, so buying tyres should not be the first concern. See the photos for more details.

The Webasto currently has no power. The fuse has been removed because it apparently drains the battery over longer periods during summer use. The fuse is located under the bonnet, and its position is shown in the final photo of the listing. For winter use, a Defa battery charger has been installed, allowing the battery to be conveniently charged from time to time and preventing it from discharging over longer periods.
