• It is with great reluctance that I must let this one go too, due to changed circumstances in life. There simply is no longer enough time for all my hobbies, and I would preferably like it out of the premises before winter. During my ownership, it has always been kept in a heated garage over winter.

• I have owned the car for 5 years and it has been built for most of that time. It has covered approximately 4,000 km during my ownership. The car was imported from Sweden in 2014, and I have owned it since 2021.

• Almost everything built on the car has been done within that period and mileage, starting from a clean slate.

• It is in fairly good shape visually for a 30-year-old Saab. Various styling additions have been fitted, including a Viggen body kit, Inac rear spoiler, M3 mirrors, genuine 18" BBS wheels, RSP LED auxiliary gauges, an AEM wideband gauge, an exhaust temperature gauge, tinted windows and more.

• The technical side is also rather impressive. It has a B204 engine, a Holset HX40 Super with a 14 cm² turbine housing, an exhaust manifold made by Arttu Suokko, 1,200 cc EV14 injectors, an AEM 340 E85 fuel pump, a 3" full exhaust with a racing catalytic converter, two silencers and a 4" outlet, a six-paddle sprung sintered clutch with a Viggen pressure plate, a naturally aspirated gearbox for shorter final gearing with the large turbo, a KKD 60 mm wastegate with a screamer pipe straight to the ground, 4" intake pipework, a 4" K&N filter, a model-specific large intercooler and pipework, all DO88 coolant hoses, and plenty more that I cannot even remember. A huge amount of parts has gone into it.

• The suspension has polyurethane components in the front strut mounts, Koni dampers and Eibach springs, Brembo Xtra Line 308 mm front brake discs, EBC Greenstuff pads, and Ferodo pads and discs at the rear.

• The interior is currently partly stripped at the rear and will be reassembled before sale.

• A few issues that have appeared over time are that the radiator occasionally seeps very slightly from the lower passenger-side corner; this is rare. Engine oil leaks from the distributor cap on the driver’s side. As is typical with Saabs, third gear does not tolerate race-style shifting and grinds when changing gear. With this power and torque, it is probably better to change gear calmly anyway. The summer tyres are no longer very good, with 2–3 mm of tread, and are rather old. It would benefit from semi-slicks in any case.

  
  

• All modifications, including the engine, suspension kit and wheels, are recorded on the registration document, so there is no need to worry about them. The ethanol conversion grant has not been claimed; if the state still offers one for this car, it may be possible to apply for it.

• Since power is of interest, last spring it produced 410 hp / 480 Nm at 1.5 bar boost on a rolling road, with fairly conservative boost and tuning. It is now safely running 1.7 bar.
