BMW 550, 2015, Turku

Note: The vehicle is owned by a finance company. Huutokaupat.com handles the financial transactions and registrations, so there may be a longer-than-normal delay in registering the car.

• The car otherwise runs quite well. The engine makes no unusual knocking or rattling noises, but it does need some work. It is a fast car and handles well even when driven hard.

• The chassis is fully functional, and the M adaptive suspension is comfortable.

• It has been tuned to Stage 2 and has a downpipe; the particulate filter is not included.

• The front drive shafts knock, although this does not affect driving.

• Service records are missing some services from 2021–2026. The service history was up to date when I bought the car, but the computer failed and the entire trip computer was replaced. It is possible that the records were lost then.

• One set of alloy wheels and summer tyres, which still have tread for next summer.

• It reports that the brake pads have not been replaced. They were replaced approximately 2 months ago, but the sensor was not replaced and I then cleared the fault code. This is why it shows -70,000 km since the last service, although the pads were replaced 2,000 km ago.

• There is a crack in the windscreen; it “should not” affect the inspection.

• Overall, the car is functional and drives well, but the above matters have been disclosed openly to provide as clear a picture as possible of the vehicle’s condition and points to note before the purchase.

• Country of import: Germany. Date of first registration in Finland: 23 June 2020

• Being sold due to a change in circumstances.

The vehicle must be collected within 7 days of the auction ending unless otherwise agreed – Huutokaupat.com.
