Made in Germany, hot-dip galvanised and zinc-coated, exceptionally strong and stable Humbaur FTKA2700 braked O2-category car trailer with TIPPER!

The trailer is in as-new condition, dent-free and washed underneath and on top after every use. It has only been towed approximately 20 times, an estimated 1,000 km, so the tyres and general condition are as new, apart from a few scratches on the bed caused by normal use; no dents.

The trailer bed is an optimally sized 4 m x 2 m. Positioning the wheels underneath the bed keeps the trailer conveniently narrow, as the wheels do not protrude beyond it. Its length is also ideal for transporting larger, longer-wheelbase and smaller passenger cars, while keeping the trailer’s overall length reasonable and making it easy to manoeuvre even in tight spaces.

The front axle of the transported car can, if necessary depending on the vehicle, be driven right to the front edge of the bed. This moves the weight distribution forward and allows a lower car’s front bumper to extend over the drawbar without problems.

The convenient tipping function provides the shallow ramp angle required for loading low cars onto and off the bed.

The bed has 5 cm-high sides at the front and along the sides, with a centre infill, also allowing other goods to be transported more easily in addition to cars.

Additional equipment and other features (only stainless-steel parts used for modifications; all electrical wires protected with braided sleeves and connections soldered with tin):

-The original jockey wheel (included) has been replaced with an adjustable Teopart support leg, allowing a long-fronted low car to be loaded onto the drawbar right at the front of the bed.

-All spring pins on the trailer have been replaced with stainless-steel scissor pins that do not open through vibration.

-Centre infill for the bed, made of marine plywood.

-Aluminium accessory box (can be stood on).

-Winch support, which can be quickly moved from one side of the trailer to the other depending on the towed vehicle’s towing point, enabling a straight pull.

-High-quality Knott winch, 1,150 kg, with 10 m of 6 mm cable, manual crank, spring operation, 2 different gear ratios for different speeds and a locking pawl (ratios 4:1 and 8:1). It has easily pulled a 2-tonne car onto the trailer.

-Additional LED reversing lights at the rear and a powerful LED work light on the drawbar, plus an IP68 switch panel.

(The work light can be switched on as a reversing light together with the rearmost lights, or all three lights can be switched on simultaneously as work lights.)

-LED marker lights at the rear corners make it easier to judge the rear when reversing in the dark; 4 yellow LED marker lights on the sides (last picture).

-3 m of E-approved reflective tape.
