Up for auction: a true long-distance road cruiser, the Opel Insignia Sports Tourer 2.0 CDTI 4x4 Automatic (118 kW / 160 hp). This is not your typical “grey mouse”, but a factory-equipped example with better extras that will not be left spinning its wheels in the first snowstorm.

Winter traction is well covered, with Opel’s adaptive four-wheel drive and an e-LSD rear differential lock. The FlexRide chassis lets you adjust the driving characteristics and suspension firmness at the press of a button.

The exterior was finished at the factory in one go: an OPC Line body kit, rear spoiler, tinted rear windows, Summit White paint and smart-looking alloy wheels.


Longer journeys are a pleasure inside. The driver has an electrically adjustable AGR ergonomic seat with memory (your back will thank you), while the improved factory Infinity / Bose sound system tops off the good sound insulation.

The equipment list has been carefully ticked as well: electric sunroof and tailgate, adaptive AFL xenon headlights with automatic high-beam control, navigation, Bluetooth/USB, auxiliary heater and heated windscreen, rain sensor, and parking sensors front and rear. The car also has a tow bar!

The car is not new, so there are signs of use. These are visible in the photos, as is the service book! Two sets of wheels and tyres are included!

-The car drives straight and does not pull

-The gearbox changes smoothly
-A warning appears regarding headlight adjustment; this has not been investigated further.
