Order for the whole family or a party crowd

The Cube Step In Hot Tub, or simply Cube among friends, is American-sized. Two metres by two metres means four square metres of swimming or relaxation space. Small children can even swim in this tub! Adults should put on their swimming goggles, because there is room to splash, paddle and play! Once the children have been sent off to the land of Nod, the Cube can fit the whole neighbourhood’s mums and dads and perhaps even a granny, as this hot tub accommodates up to 12 people without any world-record attempts. Naturally, you can also treat yourself by turning the Cube into a solo hot tub, where even the tallest bather can float without worrying about hitting their feet or head against the edge. You can dive in positions other than the foetal position. The Cube is also a guaranteed hit at house parties, lifting the mood sky-high, as it has no roof: from the tub you can admire every season without limits.

With Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tubs, summer is always hot and beautiful. In autumn, you can admire the surrounding autumn colours from the warm water. In winter, you can defy biting frost by putting on just a woolly hat and slipping into a soothingly hot bath. In spring, the hot tub promises the coming summer, as if you were getting a head start on it.

More bathing space without significantly higher water consumption

The Cube holds over 2,200 litres of water if filled to the brim. This is naturally a little unnecessary, as when eight or twelve bathers jump into the soothing warm water, a huge amount spills over the edge. We recommend a fill level of around 1,800 litres, only a couple of hundred litres more than a standard-sized hot tub. Although Finland is the land of a thousand lakes and water is plentiful, there is no need to turn the Cube into a one-off geyser in your garden. It is easy to learn how to estimate the right amount of water for the number of people.

The Step In step has many uses

You might not think one plastic step could be so versatile, but it is. We designed the Step In step to make entering the tub easier and to fit the Cube perfectly. The step naturally makes it easier to get out of the tub, but it also works as a seat for a smaller child whose head would otherwise be submerged. In use, we have found that the step also makes an excellent armrest, turning the Cube into a convenient water armchair. The Step In solution makes the Cube a hot tub for all ages and makes bathing easier for people with reduced mobility. Thanks to the Cube’s Step In step, tired limbs are easier to lower into the soothing warm water.

The Cube’s design pays special attention to the corners. Sitting in the corner seats is not a rigid, cramped experience: the backrests in the corners make them the most sought-after seats in the tub.

A wealth of choices

In keeping with Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s usual style, the customer is always right, which is why we want to offer various options for the Cube’s interior. You can choose the colour of the plastic tub from five options and consider the positioning of the Step In step in relation to the stove. And that is not all. You can also choose the exterior cladding material from three options and select a black or grey cover. The tub colour range takes its inspiration from nature, including sea blue and lichen grey. All the colour schemes are compatible and work excellently together.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove is full of power; its marine aluminium is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has an attractive glass door, so the wood-fired tub creates a beautiful glow around it and you do not need to open the door to check the fire.

The marine-aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot-tub packages are made in Finland. The powerful stove is not deterred even by seawater: it works with both fresh and seawater. Carefully considered material details make this stove a red-hot premium product. The stove package includes 2 m of chimney pipe and a rain cap; if you want more pipe, a protective chimney grille or a spark guard, see the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine starts to oxidise it. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active-oxygen tablets (see the accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water over approximately 24 hours, after which it can also be used for watering, as it contains no additional chemicals and is safer for children. Water without oxygen easily starts forming a slimy film on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Turbocharged super stove!

The Cube can also be supplied with an extra-powerful 50 kW stove, which gets your hot tub ready for bathing with almost one heating cycle. With this turbocharged stove, 1,000 litres of water can heat up in as little as an hour in winter, and naturally much faster in summer. A three-pipe system improves water circulation between the stove and the tub. With this stove, your hot-tub drinks may not have time to cool down enough, but you are unlikely to hear complaints about the tub heating up quickly.

Carefree plastic tub

Unique in design and focused on seating comfort, the Cube tub is made from rotationally moulded Jaxal polyethylene. This plastic has a memory and wants to retain the shape into which it was moulded. The easy-care, hassle-free plastic tub stands the test of time beautifully, which is why we can offer it a ten-year warranty.

As the plastic tub has no moulded seams, dirt cannot accumulate in particular spots. However, remember to keep the tub surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with ordinary detergents. The most meticulous users can occasionally clean the tub more thoroughly, or disinfect it, but remember to ensure that wastewater is handled correctly.

Wood on the outside, insulation underneath – all Finnish quality

Made to order at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s Oulu factory, your Cube receives its finishing touch in beautiful wood. The deep heat-treated Lunawood timber used for the exterior cladding improves with age. If you wish, you can apply wood preservative, wood oil or even paint, but without treatment the wood will turn a dignified grey over the years. Beneath the wooden shell lies the Cube’s warm heart: the tub is lined with thermoplastic insulation on the sides. Under the tub is a carefully made EPS insulation layer over 40 cm thick, keeping your backside warm even through the harshest frost winters. The Cube is automatically a so-called winter model, but there are no fines for using the hot tub in summer. At most, you will enjoy a relaxed feeling and a more luxurious everyday life.

Finnish quality workmanship

You can relax in the hot tub with peace of mind, as the Cube is a Key Flag product representing Finnish craftsmanship while supporting domestic employment.

Now the only question is whether you want more luxury in your life. It is available by the cube-load. Get a Cube Step In Hot Tub and the grey veil of everyday life will be pulled away from your eyes during every bathing session. Add more enjoyment to life with Hyvän Kaupan Paikka hot tubs!
