Defects and other observations

On a short test drive, we noted the following
- The car does not have a service book. Some service history is available electronically, and some work done by previous owners is on paper - see pictures
- The engine runs nicely and the gears shift smoothly; no knocking noises were heard from the suspension during the short test drive

- Wear and tear consistent with age; not all electric buttons and systems were tested. For example, the left indicator does not cancel when the steering wheel is straightened

- Instrument cluster replaced; the car may have been driven even less than the current odometer reading suggests

- The dashboard shows warnings for the rear fog lights and parking lights bulbs, possibly a calibration issue? Not investigated further

- The dashboard requests servicing --> services done by the owner, so it has not been reset

The car has not been inspected by us for technical condition, and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive.
