Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we noted the following:


  • The car felt mechanically sound on the basics. Good to drive, tracks straight and no extra rattles. The engine sounds good and the power is intact.

  • There is some issue on the fuel side. The fuel tank float has been replaced because the fuel gauge was lying. It is still slightly off; according to the gauge there may still be a little fuel left even though it is actually empty.

  • The car needs a slightly longer crank on cold starts. It does start well, but it cranks for a few seconds. For some reason it takes time to build rail pressure. This was not investigated in more detail, other than checking the injectors, and no leakage was found. The fault may be in the fuel pump, etc. However, the car is fully driveable.


The car has not been technically inspected by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. However, we disclose all known information about the car. You are welcome to test drive and inspect the car more closely on site.
