"The catalytic converter has been inspected from above and a piece can be seen to have come off/melted. Suspected that due to chain stretch it has run lean and melted the cat, and now it is acting up/throwing a lambda fault. At minimum the catalytic converter (OEM ONLY) and the chain plus guides need replacing. This diagnosis was made by Hedin Automotive.
The engine warning light is on, but according to the customer it still runs and drives normally.
