The car is roadworthy, but there is a slight shudder in the gearbox. The problem is caused by the torque converter. The transmission has just been overhauled: all seals and friction plates replaced, and the valve body checked. A torque converter could not be found, so it was not replaced, which causes a slight shudder in the gearbox after warming up.
The car has been test driven after the gearbox overhaul, and the transmission otherwise works flawlessly. The only issue is the shudder when warm.
The car has a ZF 5HP19 gearbox with torque converter code 156 208
The gearbox oil has just been changed, and the engine oil was changed 2–5k km ago.
Alternator, water pump and belt have just been replaced. Fully working car apart from the torque converter.
