Engine and consumption

The engine has been remapped primarily for better fuel economy. At the same time, power has been moderately increased to about 232 horsepower.

Fuel consumption is really modest:

Condition

Body-wise the car is very tidy for its age. Not a rusty or dented example.

The interior is in exceptionally good condition:

On the road the car drives straight, accelerates well and does not go into limp mode. There is a slight vibration, which may be due to wheel balancing. The brake shudder typical of BMWs did not appear during my own driving.

Note

* The front parking sensors may occasionally sound an alarm without any obstacle (the function can be switched off).

* The car reminds you about servicing, and the service menu shows pending services.

* The windscreen has cracks on both edges and a few stone chips. Despite this, the car has passed inspections with a repair notice.

* The body has normal signs of use for its age.

The previous owner had the car from 2022 onwards, and it has been well looked after. The engine optimisation was done with fuel economy in mind, while also adding a little extra power.

All in all, a really tidy and well-running E60, with plenty of inspection time left, good equipment, and three wheel sets included!
