Good, low-mileage BMW E46 now up for auction for someone!


The car has been with me for about 3 years, of which it stood under a carport for about 1 year.

At the beginning of the summer I got it running again and replaced the front brake discs and pads. The engine oil was also changed.


There were two (2) remarks at inspection.

  • Exhaust system leaking at the rear.

  • Front anti-roll bar bushings loose.


When I got this, among other things the following were replaced:

  • Alternator and serpentine belt.

  • Steering rack.


The exhaust system has been modified so that the rear silencer has been removed and the resonator has been moved to the rear. Moderate but sporty sound.


I have changed the oil about every 10 - 15,000 km / 1 year, also using X1R oil treatment.


In my opinion the bodywork is fairly well preserved, apart from a couple of spots where the paint has started to bubble. (Early signs of rust)


I have enjoyed driving this and it has power too.

Fault code P0221 points to the throttle body. The throttle body is probably dirty.

The driver’s window only lowers halfway. Otherwise it works normally.
