Defects and other observations

The car has had an eflexfuel system installed and was driven on ethanol for a couple of years. The system has been removed.


Faults and observations

  • Rust damage on the body.

  • The air conditioning is acting up: it blows cold, but stops blowing on longer drives; the fault seems to point to the compressor magnetic clutch.

  • The blower on the passenger side worked oddly, blowing hot air when cooling and vice versa.

  • The right front window has come loose from its mounts, but stays closed when fitted properly. The left rear window cannot raise itself without assistance.

  • The timing belt replacement would be due.

  • The front speakers are dead, the cassette player only plays through one speaker and the CD player does not want to eject the disc. The radio does work.
