Now here’s something truly rare on offer!

This vehicle hardly needs any introduction: a 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero equipped with a 2.8 litre turbo engine!

This has been test-driven thoroughly and the car has been checked over carefully. It starts beautifully, with no coughing or cranking. It runs smoothly, the revs do not wander and there are no unusual engine noises. The automatic gearbox shifts very smoothly, does not hesitate or jerk, and pulls well even at low revs. An amazing drive all round, with a comfortable ride and all the power still there. It has been completely original throughout its history, with nothing extra added or altered.

The air conditioning works and blows cold. An aftermarket Bluetooth head unit is fitted, so you can play your own tunes through your phone. All electric windows work, as do the mirrors. In general, all the little bits and pieces are in working order.

Inside, it is in very tidy condition for its age, with no bad smells or anything else out of the ordinary. The leather on the driver’s seat side bolster is a little frayed, see the photos for details. Otherwise, it is in great condition!

The body is also in very good shape! There is a tiny bit of corrosion on the front arch and the other side has already been patched. No major rust spots or rot, and even the underside is genuinely in good condition.

All service records are included, and it has been well maintained!

It is currently fitted with summer tyres on Saab’s original wheels, date-stamped 38/25, and they are in good condition! A set of winter tyres on Saab’s original wheels is also included; I will add a photo of these before the auction ends. For winter, there is of course a Defa engine block heater and interior socket.

To avoid it sounding like pure praise, a few notes should be mentioned:

The trip computer occasionally warns about coolant level. The reservoir and leaks have been checked, and there is no issue, so it is most likely the sensor.

The central locking with the key works sometimes, sometimes not.
On the first test drive, I noticed the rear wheel bearing on the driver’s side made a rumbling noise when pulling away. On later drives I could not reproduce it.
