Defects and other observations

The workshop noted the following observations on the car:


  • Oil leaks

    Transmission oil is leaking from the radiator at the front ---> the radiator must be replaced and possibly the transmission oil cooler pipes as well (this can only be seen once the radiator is removed, to check whether the pipes are in good condition or whether they are also rusted)

  • The steering rack boot has come out of place and power steering fluid is leaking from inside the steering rack

  • The VVT actuator control solenoids above the engine are leaking oil through (all 4 pcs)

  • The oil pan at the bottom of the engine is probably leaking (the area below the oil pan seam is completely wet and drips underneath)

  • Rear crankshaft seal is leaking

  • A new aftermarket head unit has been installed in the car, but it does not pick up radio stations properly

The car has not undergone a technical condition inspection, and not all equipment has been tested. You are welcome to inspect the car at our premises in Tervajoki.
