Datsun 100A Coupé A14 1.4 – a rare project car

For sale: a rarer Datsun 100A Coupé with an A14 1.4 engine.

The car starts with a jump start and moves both forwards and backwards. It has been driven a few dozen kilometres this summer.

This is not a finished classic, but an honest old project car with work to do for the next owner.

Fuel system:
The original fuel tank is leaking somewhere, so there is currently a separate boat fuel tank in the boot.

The body is complete for its age, but there is rust and bodywork to do. The paint is worn and the car shows signs of years of use. The interior also needs cleaning and refurbishment.

The car has many original Datsun parts, chrome bumpers and the Coupé’s own details intact. The rear window louvre and other period accessories give the car a distinctive look.

This is a rare Datsun 100A Coupé A14 1.4 that could make a great classic with some work. Suitable for restoration, building or hobby use.
