Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we made the following observations:



  • A car that feels mechanically sound. It drives well, goes straight, and there is a creaking noise from the rear suspension when driving over bumps. The engine sounds good and power is still there. The gearbox seemed to work as it should. At idle the power steering does not seem to work, but with even a little throttle it works normally. It may improve with just a power steering fluid change, although this is not certain. Keyless go did not seem to work from the door-handle buttons, but the remote central locking worked and the electric tailgate opened with the remote. There is no rear window wiper.

  • The Webasto auxiliary heater has not been tested.

  • A photo of the inspection fault list, which shows the repair needs in more detail, including rust repair, steering assistance issues and rear brake dragging, which was not noticeable during the test drive.
