A superb Caddy has arrived in Mussalo's auction selection. Namely a Volkswagen Caddy Max Life 2.0 TDI 103 kW. This is your choice when you need spacious interior room and low motoring costs. The car is powered by a 2.0-litre turbodiesel and the drivetrain is a 6-speed manual.

The interior is fitted with reddish fabric seats. For cold winter mornings there is an engine block heater. For longer journeys there is cruise control. The previous owner has driven this example for the last 150,000 km. The underside has at some point been rustproofed and, in fact, looks almost new, at least compared with the body paint, which has already seen better days. The turbo is also starting to make itself known, like the chirping of spring birds. There is a slight knocking noise from the front. A great Caddy!

Defects and other observations


The car has been test-driven for approx. 10 km, during which the suspension function, technical condition and gearbox operation were checked, and of course the switches and buttons were also tested for proper operation.

The car has also been properly cleaned by us so that we can take good pictures and see the defects.


- Something whistles when accelerating; possibly the turbo

- Something is knocking in the front end

- Bulb warning light on

- Fault in the driver's door hinge

- Rust here and there on the body and in the paintwork


We have not had a condition inspection carried out on the car, but a fairly extensive in-house examination has been done.


There may of course be hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive or cleaning.
