When we began designing log saunas, we aimed to achieve the authentic atmosphere of a Finnish sauna and the ease of sauna bathing. We want to offer saunas for different purposes, and this traditional log sauna with a dressing room is especially for those who want to enjoy the gentle steam of a yard sauna in a traditional style and with ease. This log sauna does not fuss about with unnecessary tricks – it has good basic benches, a convenient dressing room and an excellent Harvia stove with a glass door. From the log sauna you step in an instant to the small terrace to cool off, and when your toes start to tingle from the chill, you can continue cooling off in the slightly warmer dressing room or hop back onto the benches waiting hot. Just add more wood to the firebox, listen to the hypnotic hum of the wood-burning stove and top it off with great steam. There is always something magical about sauna bathing in the yard. Leave your clothes or sauna robes in the dressing room

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s high-quality saunas are built spaciously while making compact use of space. The traditional log sauna with a dressing room and front terrace is just the right size for 4-6 people. You can go in from inside wearing a sauna robe, or change in the handy dressing room. Of course, you can also dash across the yard to the sauna in the birthday suit, but in that case you need to be careful that the neighbour’s granny does not choke on her coffee.

The heart of this log sauna is the Harvia M3 stove with a glass door. A stove with a glass door creates a cosy glow of fire in the sauna, especially in autumn and winter. Add the optional integrated water tank and you will get warm washing water for bathers, so you do not need a shower for basic washing. The highest point of the sauna is almost 2.5 m and the whole handsome structure is just under 5 m long. A sturdy and safe chimney package is naturally included in the delivery package. Always use fire carefully and responsibly.

The optional Sauna-Seppo wash-water filter removes worries about dirty water, as wash water passed through the filter can be released back into nature and building control will not start issuing environmental fines.

Honestly built from logs

We manufacture the traditional log sauna with a dressing room and front terrace from magnificent Finnish spruce logs measuring 45 x 145 mm. Timber is always a warm and ecological choice. The sauna has spruce benches in two tiers and a window brings light into the sauna. The dressing room has two windows, one of which is in the door. The windows are top-quality thermal windows with aluminium frames that keep the heat inside.

You’ll be assembling it soon!

We are happy to deliver the whole package to your home, and you do not need lifting equipment when you choose delivery by HIAB truck. The package includes eaves boards, a complete black felt shingle set, felt roofing nails, a lockable exterior door with fittings, and also the terrace floor boards. At the moment a building permit is still required to build the sauna, but we can provide architectural drawings for the permit. The foundations are the customer’s responsibility. You can request the instructions and permit drawings that come with the sauna in advance, so when delivery arrives you can simply start getting your new handsome yard sauna ready for bathing. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and a calm enthusiasm for assembly. Always read the instructions carefully before carrying out any work stage.

Someone is always on duty

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka there is always someone on duty. We offer customer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or as it is now called, 24/7. Few people build their home at night, but if something about assembling the product is unclear, we will answer then too. The instructions included with the building package help with assembly, and you can also find assembly videos on YouTube that make the work easier to understand. You are not on your own with your garden building, because we are here to support you!
