The tub is made of polyethylene plastic and is completely seamless, very easy to keep clean and simple to use.

The complete delivery includes a stylish plastic cover that withstands snow load and has lifting handles, a large approx. 35 kW marine aluminium stove, a drain tap and an outlet pipe. The tub is insulated. The bottom has a 45 cm Styrofoam filling, so frost will not bother bathers here. The outer cladding is Finnish heat-treated pine (Lunawood). The pool package is 100% Finnish quality workmanship.

Avainlippu product from our own production line

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's Classic Hot Tub bathtub is made in Finland down to the smallest particle. We are very proud of the products from our line, and we have been making this Classic Hot Tub model for years using the same proven method. The bathtub's edge panels arrive at the factory as long timber. They are cut to length and made into an element, into which a previously glued insulated base from Jackon in Sastamala and a maintenance-free PE plastic pool moulded by Pipelife in Oulu are inserted. The line's precise bathtub experts drill the drain hole in the base, the stove openings in the side and fit the hoses in place. Finally, the package is carefully tipped onto its side again to install the outlet pipe.

The Classic Hot Tub bathtub is delivered freight free to its new happy owner, who only needs to have a water hose, firewood and fire-starting equipment ready. However, the new owner must ensure that the bathtub is installed level, so that the water does not sit unevenly in the tub. Installation instructions are included, but in practice the new owner only needs to attach the stove placed on a level surface to the bathtub with hose clamps, screw the stove's drain valve closed and off you go, into the bath.

Improved seating comfort in the rotationally moulded pool - also for taller bathers

The maintenance-free, moulded PE plastic pool comes to us almost next door, from Pipelife in Oulu. In their factory, the rotationally moulded pool is formed from plastic granules as the result of a precise process. The plastic granules are placed in a mould, and the mould rotates in an oven for an hour. After cooling, the pool is ready to be moved to Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's production line.

We have paid special attention to seating comfort in the pool design. The sides of the pool are not vertical, as a wedge-shaped insulating air gap has been left between the pool and the edge panelling, which is gentler on the bather's back. The edges of our pools are on average higher than those of other manufacturers, so even taller bathers' shoulders sink below the surface of the steaming warm bath water and their necks do not start to freeze. Seating comfort is top class and your legs won't be tangled up in this bathtub, because despite the height the bench is not too low.

Super-efficient marine aluminium stove

The marine aluminium stoves included in Hyvän Kaupan Paikka's bathtub package are made in Finland. The powerful 35 kW stove is not even afraid of seawater, as it can be used with both fresh and salt water. Carefully considered material details make the stove a red-hot top product. Marine aluminium conducts heat excellently, the front plate of the stove is stainless steel and the glass door allows you to check the fire without opening the door. The stove package includes two metres of flue pipe and a rain cap, but if you want more pipe, a chimney guard or a spark guard, take a look at the accessories list.

Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine starts to oxidise the marine aluminium. We recommend changing the water often enough and using active oxygen tablets (see the accessories list). Active oxygen oxidises the water for about a day, after which the water can also be used for watering, as it does not contain any added chemicals and is also safer for children. Water without active oxygen easily starts to form a slimy surface on the edges of the bath, but active oxygen prevents this process.

Easy maintenance with little effort

In the Classic Hot Tub, your backside won't freeze even when the ground is frozen. The 45 cm insulated Styrofoam at the bottom prevents cold from reaching the base of the tub and at the same time keeps the water warmer. The delivery includes a plastic cover that significantly reduces heat loss. A well-heated bathtub can be warmed up again the next morning with one load of firewood.

Warmth is also provided by the heat-treated pine panel from Lunawood, which crowns the bathtub's appearance as the edge material of the pool. You do not need to do anything to the pine panel if you do not want to. Over time, the surface will naturally weather to a beautiful grey. However, if you want to preserve the brown tone, apply wood oil to the surface once a year. Maintenance-free also applies to the plastic pool, as there are no moulded seams where dirt could collect in special places. However, remember to keep the pool surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy to do with normal detergents. The most thorough users can occasionally clean the pool more aggressively, i.e. disinfect it, but remember to take care of wastewater properly.
