Buyers are advised to familiarise themselves carefully with the property, the sales brochure and the attached documents before placing a bid.
The item is sold by incremental bidding in an online auction on the website www.huutokaupat.com from 14 August to 1 September 2026 between 12:00. Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for placing bids ends on 1 September 2026 at 12:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid. The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider's system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider's system has accepted as the highest. The enforcement officer decides separately whether the highest bid is accepted or rejected.
If it is not possible to submit bids through the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written bid to the enforcement authority, which will be included in the online auction as the maximum bid according to the automatic bidding system. The written bid must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum amount of the bid, and the item number on www.huutokaupat.com to which the bid relates. The written bid is binding and the same terms apply as in the online auction. The bid must be submitted no later than 27 August 2026 at 12:00 to the Enforcement Authority's Kotka office, address Vuorikatu 5 C, 48100 Kotka, or by email to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi. The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.
Bids placed in the online auction are binding. If a bid is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the purchase price offered within the stated payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in the buyer's liability for compensation under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.
The buyer must pay the full purchase price immediately after the bid is accepted into the official deposit account of the Enforcement Authority. The Enforcement Authority will contact the bidder of the highest accepted bid. The bidder of the highest bid must state on whose behalf the bid was made. Otherwise, the highest bidder is deemed to be the buyer. If payment is not made within the prescribed time, the buyer must pay default interest on the entire purchase price in accordance with Section 4(1) of the Interest Act until the purchase price has been paid or a new sale has been held. The current default interest rate is 9.50%.
