Mercedes as shown in the pictures, runs and drives.

The car has some kind of remap according to the previous owner and the exhaust seems fairly straight-through. Black smoke comes out.

Pros:

• OM648

• Small rust spots in the wheel arches, so it has held up well for its age in that respect

• Fairly new tyres

• H&R lowering springs

• Fairly new smoke trim, rear window spoiler, boot spoiler.

• Avantgarde and half-leather seats, some with electric adjustment

• According to the previous owner, the engine was once changed to a lower-mileage unit, but there is no proof of this so it is hard to say whether that is true

Several larger repairs were done last year, see photo of receipts in the pictures

Cons:

• Turbo sounds a bit unusual in my opinion. Boost is present and it can be driven normally

• Dent in the wing and some bodger has used roof screws in the rear bumper

• SRS light, the connector under the passenger seat was loose, would need resetting with a reader or the fault may still be present

• ABS light came on during the last test drive. After resetting it has not come back, but it may still be an issue.

• Brake wear light, the brake pads seemed to be in pretty good condition so probably just the sensor is faulty

• Parking sensors do not work, two spare parking sensors included.

• Radio wiring is disconnected, had CarPlay but it has been removed

• Some play at the front, clunks when driving into a pothole
