Bluebird rescued from restoration and built for sale.

The body modifications have been made from sheet metal, so there are no fibreglass parts on the car.

The car is being sold to make room for everyday life, so someone else can enjoy it more than I do.

The car has been in summer use with me and works as it should. It has also just been inspected, so you can drive it worry-free for a few more years.

The car has new tyres, and it also comes with 2 extra new tyres without rims. It also comes with some parts, such as the front bumper and overriders, as well as the original parcel shelf.

A few noted faults are listed below. The mileage is not certain.

The car is fairly low, as can be seen in the pictures, so care is needed over speed bumps.

The car was repainted in 2024, when the engine was also overhauled.

Changes and maintenance to the engine, drivetrain and chassis

• Engine oil, filter and differential oil changed in spring 2026, about 1,000 km ago.

• Safety tank (shown in pictures)

• Brand-new carburettor

• Lightened flywheel

• Electric fuel pump

• Electronic ignition

• Fuse boxes replaced with new ones.

• Free-flow air filter

• Front disc brakes, along with brake servo and brake pressure regulator (shown in pictures)

• New front shocks and stiff short springs

• Stiff anti-roll bar bushes and shorter drop links.

• 60 mm lowering blocks at the rear

• Stiffer rear leaf springs and new shocks

• 13" chrome solid steel wheels

Body modifications

• All rust spots repaired by a professional before painting; at the same time the front bumper was reshaped from sheet metal into a different form, and the rear bumper was modified more aggressively, also from sheet metal. The rear arches were widened slightly.

• Door seals replaced

• Spare wheel well removed

Interior

• The interior was almost completely rebuilt in 2025

• CTK 3.0 butyl sound deadening mat installed across the entire floor

• The whole floor trim was redone

• Retro bucket seats

• Sparco 3-point seat belts in 2026

• Wood-rim racing steering wheel

• Parcel shelf made to suit my taste.
